End of the Doldrums

The paper war is over, and the guys are moving out next week to a new building. We all hope this one has heat.

The following week the waiting is over and training again begins in earnest. Now they know what the projected graduation date is. Now they can hit it and work on developing skill and tactics.

Cheesehead is really looking forward to putting his heavy weight sleeping bag away and using regular stuff like a sheet and blanket at night.

I think the guys would like to be spoiled.

Ruck up and soldier on guys!

Why the doldrums? Weren’t they working out with spandex women?

  2. Administrator Says:

Yes why yes they were. But you know despite what they say, SpandexWoman was just a minor distraction.

For each of them now.. they are family. The depend on each other, they trust each other.

They keep focus on the mission and the job.

    Their life is …. dedicated.

By the way we are waiting with baited breath to see if Doc makes in into this group.

We all await word of S1 and B’s 1-4 making it to the Magical Forest.

Louie left a note … saying that the Magical Forest and the code stuff was confusing. So I sent her a private email to let her know who is who and what job they are doing.

Our hat is off to Louie and her daughter, who is joining the National Guard and serving her country.

She is a gutsy girl. Her mom is a gutsy mom and her dad is gutsy too.
You can read the touching story of her daughter at Befuddled… on the family category.

Funny thing I was not around women in the military for many years. I had two MOS’s in the Marines … 0802 and 0302…. Artillery and Infantry. There are no women there. It is a monastic life.

My heart goes out to those who have daughters serving.

  3. Mrs. Diva Says:

Many thanks to Louie and her entire family.
