Field Update

Ram and Mowgli are in from the exercise. Ram swears that the Army controls the temperature in the Magic Forest. Today it was 70 degrees. Up till today it was 20 and a tad below. You know what that means…. it means when you are not allowed to wear “snivel gear” and you lay in ….. in an ambush. The ground sucks all the heat from your body in nothing flat.

And since in the last couple of days they were allowed something like one MRE …… I cannot begin to tell you how much they are looking forward to ….. waitresses and a steak or two.

Funny thing … if your last steak was 3 weeks ago …. they taste really good when you actually get one … or three.

Bring on the eyecandy and the food!!!

    Well … it was a Japanese steak house this time and Ram had Squid.
    He likes the stuff.

    How Ram developed a liking for Calimari I really don’t know but …. eating stuff like that will serve him well in SERE where the guys will learn how to eat anything they can catch or scrape off the bottom of rocks.
