Waldo’s Holed Up

Mike and associate are still at Zion National Park in a tent. Tent? Ah yea tent, I know they said Holiday Inn’s only but the spirit moved them.

They got all woodsie and camped then they hiked to a place called Angel’s Landing. I guess it’s kinda high and perfect for Angels to Land on before they camp too.

Tomorrow they will go to the “Narrows” where the canyons come together.

As Diva mentioned it’s still snowy at the Grand Canyon, I guess the weather is rough near the Yellowstone too. So they will stay put for a day or so. Yanno that’s better than getting wintered in … in Donner Pass … but we won’t go into that story.

They might come back by Friday, or maybe by Sunday … God willing and the creek don’t rise.

If anyone know how to camp out its these guys.

You think I paint BAD visuals and then YOU mention Donners Pass? *snort* Stay away from that one guys!! OK. You better stay away from Liberace’s friends too.

Kidding aside, the area of the pass is beautiful. If they ever have time to go camping up in the Sierra’s, they should go. We often visit north of Truckee and it is a great place to fish…..which is the only reason hubby is agreeable to going there frequently;-)

Camps with Wolves .. the title of my new short story.

    Donner’s Pass … it’s what’s for dinner!

    Sorry

    Truckee would probably be better.
