this is something my mom sent me and i thought you guys would get a kick out of it.

To those of us who have children in our lives, whether they are our own:
grandchildren,
nieces,
nephews,
or students…
here is something to make you chuckle.

Whenever your children are out of control, you can take comfort from the thought that even God’s omnipotence did not extend to His own children.

After creating heaven and earth, God created Adam and Eve.

And the first thing he said was “DON’T!”

“Don’t what?” Adam replied.

“Don’t eat the forbidden fruit.” God said.

“Forbidden fruit? We have forbidden fruit? Hey Eve we have forbidden fruit!”

“No Way!”

“Yes way!”

“Do NOT eat the fruit! ” said God.

“Why?”

“Because I am your Father and I said so! ”

God replied, wondering why He hadn’t stopped creation after making the elephants.

A few minutes later, God saw His children having an apple break
and He was ticked!

“Didn’t I tell you not to eat the fruit? ” God asked.

“Uh huh,” Adam replied..

“Then why did you? ” said the Father.

“I don’t know,” said Eve.

“She started it! ” Adam said.

“Did not! ”

“Did too! ”

“DID NOT! ”

Having had it with the two of them, God’s punishment was that Adam and Eve should have children of their own.

Thus the pattern was set and it has never changed.

BUT THERE IS REASSURANCE IN THE STORY!

If you have persistently and lovingly tried to give children wisdom and they haven’t taken it, don’t be hard on yourself.

If God had trouble raising children, what makes you think it would be a piece of cake for you?

THINGS TO THINK ABOUT!

1. You spend the first two years of their life teaching them to walk and talk. Then you spend the next sixteen telling them to sit down and shut up.

2. Grandchildren are God’s reward for not killing your own children.

3. Mothers of teens now know why some animals eat their young.

4. Children seldom misquote you.

In fact, they usually repeat word for word what you shouldn’t have said.

5. The main purpose of holding children’s parties is to remind yourself that there are children more awful than your own.

6. We childproofed our homes, but they are still getting in.

ADVICE FOR THE DAY:

Be nice to your kids. They will choose your nursing home one day.

AND FINALLY:

IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF TENSION AND YOU GET A HEADACHE, DO WHAT IT SAYS ON THE ASPIRIN BOTTLE:

“TAKE TWO ASPIRIN” AND “KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN”!!!!!

No matter how long he lives he will never forget this one!

“You are not going to believe what happened to Little Peter. We attended a Royals game and He caught a ball. He was so ecstatic. Of course my camera battery would have to be dead. He was jumping for joy and screaming. He kissed the ball and made a big scene. Everyone around us got a huge kick out of his excitement. He is going to put the ball with the tickets in a glass frame.

And get this, we were given 4 free tickets, in front of home plate. We sat behind a news caster. It was all very exciting. The 1st inning was jumping with action.

Wow what a memorable evening!”

Maybe we will have film at 11  . … we are babysitting tonight!

Oh yes .. he is wearing his lucky dogtags.

The Marine Corps is getting two very bright young ladies. Madzia and Ola. Yes they work out with the recruiters and run on their own too. They are looking forward to moving up their ship date to January. Which means I will lose them a semester early but they are quite excited about beginning their journey and becoming Marines.

As fitting for artists I am not using their photos here. I am using the self drawing that they each did. Yes they are quite talented.

Wow what a shock eh. Hillary is a buddy of another crook. A Chinese Commie Crook.

Somewhere about O-Dark-Thirty this AM Ram and the guys hooked up and moved out into the bushes and weeds. It is a practice run for their “final performance exam”.

Then next week the exam itself. After that a trip back to the Magical Forest for a run through with a complete team. And that’s it. That’s it for the MOS portion of this thing.

Once back they dive into deep language training.

The culmination of this whole 1 year 7 month evolution is yet to come. A test that spreads waaaaaaay out past the Magical Forest. Yup it’s huge.

While Iraq and the elections provide a “feeding frenzy” for Democrats the Clintons feel free to dip into their old friends … the Chinese Communists coffers.  And why not they have had contacts in Chinese restaurants who donated huge chunks of money just about the time the Chinese were stealing and getting away with nuke secrets from one of our labs.

The Clintons have always covered for the ChiComs and dealt with them. Remember port rights in California .. and the cases of AK-47’s that landed there. All that stuff always gets lost.

There is a photo of the house on the article. And further into the article comes this:“ The Paws’ political donations closely track donations made by Norman Hsu, a wealthy New York businessman in the apparel industry who once listed the Paw home as his address, according to public records. Mr. Hsu is one of the top fund-raisers for Mrs. Clinton’s presidential campaign. He has hosted or co-hosted some of her most prominent money-raising events.”

It would seem that the Clintons are bought and paid by Chinese Communists. The Paws are obviously useful fools for Mr Hsu. In the clamoring that is the Iraq situation, Chinese military power continues to grow. Having another Clinton in the White House would be a major help in continuing that.

Well then. Seems like it was last year, we had a career day. Lots of companies showed up. So did the Army, the Navy, the Air Force and the Marines.

I made it a point to visit with most and say howdy. There were two Marine Recruiters at one of the tables. One was in Dress Blues, and the other in Modified Blues that recruiters wear.

I had just talked to them for a bit and was walking away when two girls in my class wandered up. I asked them if they talked to the Marines yet. They said no. I asked them if they were afraid to. They said no.

Presto. They came in for their second year in the class. Both of them (they are twins) had enlisted in the Marine Corps over the summer on the delay entry program.  They will ship next June.

These two ladies are unique. They are Polish Americans. Born in Poland complete with a mild accent. They are A students (bug off Jon Carry .. neither had to join … they are honor roll kids). They will make excellent Marines.

I am proud of them both. I made them promise to write and send photos.

This video is a “training session” for reporters and reporterettes on the difference between a fired bullet and a cartridge (not yet fired bullet). It’s funny.

The reason for it was that report of that old Hag holding up two “bullets” fired into her house by the US Army. In reality what she held up were two unfired cartridges.

Reporters are dumber than a box of rocks, none of them seem to have fact checkers any more. Take it away froggie. H/T to Castle Aagghhh.
