Petraeus for President?
This is the title of a post over at Blackfive (the paratrooper of love). At first glance one would think Hey! let the guy do his job in Iraq.
But it only makes perfect sense when you think about it. Regardless of his personal beliefs, they man would be fair and objective.
Looking back in history how many former generals can you name who became president? George Washington, U. S. Grant Ike, and almost general (but certain warrior) Teddy Roosevelt. I could handle that.
Maybe it’s about time we did elect an intellectual warrior.
