Congressional leaders Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid introduced multiple troop withdrawal plans but were frustrated in passing any of them. In April, encapsulating the Democrat defeatist mindset, Senate Leader Reid declared: “this war is lost, and this surge is not accomplishing anything.” In July, Representative Murtha discounted early surge progress stating: “I know this: that it’s not getting better. It’s over-optimistic. It’s an illusion.” Our own representative, Nancy Boyda, caused a stir walking out on retired Army General Keane stating “there was only so much that you could take.” His expert eyewitness testimony that with the surge U.S. forces “are on the offensive and we have the momentum” and that Baghdad “cafes, pool halls, coffee houses that I visited are full of people” didn’t meet her pre-conceived notions of the war. In September, Senator Clinton dismissed General Petraeus’ testimony stating that his Iraq progress report required “a willing suspension of disbelief” and that he had “been made the de facto spokesmen for what many of us believe to be a failed policy.” Senator Obama maintained he never supported the war and vowed to begin an immediate withdrawal if elected.”
Moore et al are not now and never have been part of the solution. They have lost their grasp on reality due to Bush Derangement Syndrome. They are weak and afraid. They covet power and want to surrender to world terror.
We don’t need them. They need to be voted out. George Bush … love him or hate him is a leader. They are self centered whimps. They enjoy the benefits of the country and their office and work to harm the country.
They are either ignorant or purposefully working to destroy the country.
Ma and I have 5 kids and 6 grandkids. You can bet I will work to make sure all of them who can vote … do so.

King County Executive Ron Sims plans to introduce legislation that would allow the county to reject or modify development projects because of their effect on global warming.
If the proposal is passed by the Metropolitan King County Council, county land-use officials believe King County would be the first jurisdiction in the nation to take that step.
Sims, who has made climate change a top issue during his third term, said Wednesday he will introduce legislation in May that would consider greenhouse-gas emissions as part of the environmental-review process.
King County already requires developers to answer questions about their projects’ likely effects on climate, but approval of the projects doesn’t depend on those answers.
Who will profit? The carbon offset racket, of course!
