Stupid Is… As Stupid Does
February 10, 2010 on 4:05 pm | In Uncategorized | No CommentsLikewise Smart is … as smart does.
Let the Smart Cars Roll!!!!

Well, all I can say is this guy’s car is truely a reflection of his persona.

And this lady looks like she belongs in a Mercedes. That said, what she is in doesn’t really look like a Mercedes. Models will do anything for money.

This of course is the “Grand Finale”. It is also the reason I would never buy or borrow one of these things.
Because we care…
February 9, 2010 on 8:51 pm | In Uncategorized | 2 CommentsWe wanted to present some of the more …. ahhh … less well known laws that may affect those who live in these states.
Kansas
It is illegal to catch fish with your bare hands.
Lawrence – it is against the law to carry bees in your hat.
McLough – it is illegal to wash your dentures in a public drinking fountain.
Natoma – it is agianst the law to practice knife throwing at men in striped suits.
Russell – it is against the law to have a musical car horn.
Missouri
State law has a provision that allows any city in the state to levy a tax to support a band, provided that “the mayor plays piccolo and each band member can eat peas with a knife.”
It is illegal to carry an uncaged bear down the highway.
St. Louis – it is against the law to drink beer from a bucket on any street curb.
North Carolina
According to state law, it its illegal to use elephants to plow cotton fields.
It is illegal to sing out of tune.
Asheville – it is illegal to sneeze within the city limits.
Wade Mills – it is against the law to purchase or eat ice cream 30 minutes before church on Sunday.
Wintson-Salem – it is against the law for children under the age of seven to go to college.
If we missed your state (Wisconsin doesn’t seem to have wacky laws) you can look them up here.
UPDATE!!!!!
Our reporter in Wisconsin has discovered wacky laws:
State Law made it illegal to serve apple pie in public restaurants without cheese
Nuclear weapons may not be manufactured in the city limits. (Sun Prairie)
If one is thought of as offensive looking, it is illegal for him to be in public during the day. (Milwaukee )
You cannot “worry a squirrel.” (La Crosse)
Tattooing is illegal unless it is done for medical purposes. (Brookfield)
While all cheese making requires a license, Limburger cheese making requires a master
cheese maker’s license.

Boston Tea Party II
January 20, 2010 on 5:10 pm | In Uncategorized | No CommentsSo yesterday the tide began to turn when Scott Brown won Ted Kennedy’s old Senate seat. He was elected by the TEA Party people … not Republicans. Like me, many are seriously sick and tired of Democrats and Republicans. The TEA Party movement reaches out to Americans no matter what party.
It has just begun.
Liberty Memorial WWI museum

Kinda looks like a rough neighborhood eh? It would be fun to commute to work in one of these!
We had the chance to take a trip back in history to the World War I Museum. It was remodelled years back but this was the first time we had a chance to visit a couple of times. It is a very personalised (with personal stories, and artifacts) journey.
Judging by the large numbers of people visiting and pondering, it is a important and unique collection of history.

There is so much to take in, documentaries, documents, weapons, artifacts and the story of so many who were involved.

I don’t know about Noah, but I would sure like to have one of these in the front yard. I would spend all New Year’s Eve polishing, cleaning and loading it and worrying the neighbors.
Christmas Catchup
January 11, 2010 on 12:00 am | In Uncategorized | 5 CommentsTime to put up a couple of review photos. Starting with Christmas.

The refrig is covered with photos. At Christmas Emster and the Doodlebug took a minute to scan the family fotos. We are all there.

Boys, on the other hand will be boys. They prefer playing, remote control cars and so forth.

And yes … it was a White Christmas. I’t still white and cold. Next person who utters the words “Global Warming” around here is gonna get his butt knocked in a snow bank.
Where has everyone gone??
January 2, 2010 on 2:27 am | In Uncategorized | 5 CommentsI realize that the CookiecrumbExpress has been fairly dead lately.
Most of the action has shifted to Face Book. Think everyone in the family gets up and reads FaceBook before breakfast, then add content.
I will try to post more frequently here. FaceBook info to anyone of you that I know who wants it.
